Three decisions to make before you buy.
Ventilation comes down to three choices. Work through each one and you'll know exactly which insert fits your hood and your cooking.
1 · Sizing (CFM)
CFM measures how much air your vent moves. Match it to your cooktop size and how heavily you cook so the hood clears smoke and steam effectively.
2 · Power level
Everyday cooking, an avid home chef, or a pro-style range? Higher output moves more air but runs louder — balance power against the noise you'll live with.
3 · Ducting method
Ducted vents exhaust outside for the best performance; ductless recirculate through a filter. Your kitchen's layout usually decides which is possible.

Match CFM to how you cook.
Your hood should be about 6″ wider than your cooktop, and higher-BTU ranges need more CFM. Not sure? Use the "Will My Vent Fit?" tool or talk to us before you order.
