If you want this look, start here.
| If you want | Choose | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Visible grain and natural warmth | Wood Stains | Stain lets the maple grain read through, from pale Natural to deep Espresso. |
| A hood that disappears into your cabinetry | Painted Colors | An opaque, furniture-grade finish. Custom color matching is available for an additional charge. |
| Your painter finishing the whole kitchen on site | Raw & Paint-Grade | Order unfinished or primed and have the hood sprayed with your cabinets. |
How to compare samples at home.
Natural and artificial light can shift how a finish appears.
Hold samples near cabinets, flooring, backsplash tile, countertops, and hardware.
Decide between stained, painted, or site-finished — then narrow down the exact color.
Hoods are crafted from natural wood; tone and grain vary piece to piece, and stains may vary by up to 2 shades. Your sample is an accurate representation of the finish, but the final hood may differ slightly. This is a characteristic of real wood, not a defect. Painted finishes are far more consistent than stains.
